Composing for film, tv and the radio is something we approach with great passion. We believe nothing is more complimentary to these entertainment mediums than an accompanying soundtrack, backing track, sound design elements; and the list goes on. Racing Titles
The original music here demonstrates our work over a Sky TV sports program. We undertook large scale research into the end users needs, and indeed worked on several drafts for them before finalising the exact details. This is the final version that we submitted. Keep an eye on our blogs and news section for a complete breakdown of the process and recordings of the different drafts involved.
La Jetee
The 1963 film La Jetee formed the basis for the 2000 film 12 Monkeys. The extract here is taken from the opening titles. One of our team rewrote the entire soundtrack as part of his university dissertation project. The film is unique in many aspects, made up of entirely still photographs (bar 2 seconds of movement in the latter part of the film), and the music therefore plays a distinct role within the film, alongside the narration.
Hotrod Theme
'Hotrod' was written as a 'sketch' of ideas formed over a week off in the summer. It demonstrates some of our original compositions that are conceived outside of video and picture, and purely as instrumental tracks. It's application though is still up for grabs, if you think you could put this to use then let us know!
I Need To Tell You .Com
We worked with INTTY.com while they were establishing themselves within the online networking industry. We presented a series of scripts for a radio advert before producing and refining a combination of all factors for them. In essence we took care of the entire process, referring back to INTTY for approval and feedback where necessary and at a juncture that suited them. Everything you here within the advert was written by us, and we're proud to present what was one of our first major projects.
Unbreakable Extract.
Taken from the 2000 film 'Unbreakable' this extract demonstrates further the skills at our disposal, the original music composition coming from a portfolio developed by one of our staff, while studying for his Degree qualification. The film product and its original soundtrack remain the sole property of BVI Ltd.
DieHard Extract.
Similar to the previous 'Unbreakable' extract, this original composition also demonstrates further the skills available to us through our staff of composers. This extract from DieHard, excluding the newly composed soundtrack, remains the sole property of 20thCentury Fox.
